So many new things....

Our boys are growing and changing every day. They are truly special and incredible little people that enrich our lives more than we ever knew children could.

There has been a lot happening since the last time we posted. We all went down to Texas on December 21st and on the 22nd our new baby Elliot was baptized. It was so special that we were able to celebrate this event with Fr. Tom, Jon's uncle, who's a priest in Robstown. W.T. and April are the little guys god parents and they presented him with the most unique and perfect baptismal gown. One that will be in the family for years to come! What made this day even more special was that Jerome had the baptismal blessing with the chrism oil. When he was baptized in the hospital the day that he was born, before his surgery, they had to be extremely careful about what "germs" were introduced into his incubator so as to prevent infection. So the priest was able to do the water baptism, but not able to use the chrism. He was very interested in the process.

From Robstown we went to Brackettville to be with my family for Christmas. This year Jerome was actually active in the festivities of Christmas; tearing open gifts and enjoying the family. A few days after Christmas we went to Poteet to celebrate with W.T. and April's family. It was a mad house, but tons of fun with all of the kiddos running around so happy that Santa came! Other than being a little under the weather (probably from traveling) Jerome fit right in and loved the chaos of the full house.
One of the highlights of Christmas with their family was the gifts for Jerome and Elliot from W.T., April, and all the kids. We may live in Minnesota, but we've still got our Texas pride! :) Go Spurs!

Sadly, we had to say goodbye to Dada, so that he could go back to MN to work, but we were so excited to be able to stay for more time with Honey and Papa and all the fam and animals in Texas. Jerome had a blast. He loved playing outside, or as he called it "sides". And seeing as we had gorgeous weather, we were able to be "sides" as much as we wanted.
After returning from Texas, I had my wisdom teeth removed, which threw a wrench in things for a while, but in the end turned out very well. I'm so glad to have it done!
In the last few days, Jerome has started walking. He's been so close for the longest time, but now he's actually doing it on his own. We have a video attached that will warm your hearts. He's growing up.Elliot is the cutest little bug, or should I say big bug. At his 2 1/2 month check up, he weighed in at 13.5 pounds. He's a giggly, wiggly, smiley, happy boy. He's a great eater, great sleeper, and great cuddler. If you couldn't tell, I just adore this little guy. :) We have pictures and video to satiate all of your cravings!

Love to all of you and I WILL get better/faster at posting on here!

OK, I am tryign again, let's see if I can do it without messing it up. Thank you so much for the pics. They are too cute. I am so glad the outfits have been keeping those babies warm. From what it says on the news they need all the help they can get. I love the videos, especially of Jerome walking. Your mini me was pretty cute too.(o: As for the chocolate, at least he has good taste and knows to go for the dark stuff. Love April
