The Count Down Has Begun!

It has been quite some time since we last posted. I'm seeing a pattern here, and it's not a good one. I shall get better. Especially now that I'm realizing that pictures are really all that matters.... :)
Life is great! I am bigger than ever before with this baby due November 4th, which
really means any time now. Goodness. We're so excited, but also shocked by how quickly this pregnancy seems to have gone. We have a wonderful doctor and also a doula to help us with this birth, so we are feeling very prepared and excited to experience a more normal birth. Please keep this in your prayers!

Jerome is doing wonderfully. He is a big one year old now. We had a grand celebration on August 25th, marking one year of a joyful life. Honey and Papa were able to come visit all the way from Texas and Jerome had 2 fun birthday parties with lots of cake and yumminess.

He is growing and developing right before our eyes; it's so beautiful to witness. He's so smart! He's not walking yet, but I doubt it will be long. He crawls everywhere with much gusto and cruises around the furniture with ease. Some of his favorite things to do are go outside and see the trees, turkeys, airplanes and squirrels. He says trees, dog, Daisy (the family dog), keys (for turkeys), and many many other things that we are not yet able to decipher. He's a ball of energy and a ton of fun. I can't wait to see him as a big brother. It could be interesting, to say the least. :)

Jon is well. Keeping himself busy with the job hunt and odd jobs. He helped some friends of ours, Seth and Teresa, paint their new home and it was lots of fun. Jerome and I were able to tag along for a few days and spend time with Teresa and Elena (their 6 month old little girl).
Jerome and Elena became great friends and ended with Jerome becoming quite romantico...true Italian coming out in him. I'll attach a few pictures so you can get a feel for what I'm referring to.

Hope you're all well and we will surely have some fun news of a new addition soon, so keep checking up with us.

Jerome is testing out dog food for the first time!

Dada's little boy!

What a good eater!

He's gonna be a heart breaker.....

It's about time you updated this thing!! I've been checking it daily hoping for news of the baby. I can't wait to hear how everything goes. Elena sends her love (and a couple of kisses for Jerome).

Hey you guys,
I was excited to check and be rewarded, especially with the cute pics. Take care of yourselves, and Tita it is about time to go ahead and start running up those stairs and then jumping back down them.(and if you have the laundry with you that is just that much better.;0)) I would also say to give Jerome a kiss for us, but it looks as though he already has the kissing thing down and is prabably getting more than enough.(as if that is possible.) You guys take care and we will call again soon. W.T., April, & all the monkeys

Hey!!! If pictures are all that matter, you'd better give us a visual of that bigger-than-ever baby bump! Especially since it's going to be gone so soon :)

Our love and prayers to you,
The Charbas

Looking forward to hearing the News and I'm sure Jerome will be a wonderful big brother.
