The hospital staff decided that they couldn’t go on without spending some more time with our little boy, so back into the trenches we go. Jerome has a hernia which we almost should have seen coming considering that he has all the ideal circumstances to develop one. Hernias aren’t the most pleasant things to endure, and hence Jerome has been pretty fussy lately. Thankfully the doctors were able to schedule Jerome’s surgery soon for us. We will go in tomorrow for a day of prep, and Jerome will go into surgery for the second time in his short life on Tuesday. Thankfully, this procedure is not nearly as complicated, although he does have to be put under (general anesthesia). So we will be asking for your prayers once again friends.

Jerome has graced this blog with his beautiful self once again. We will certainly pray for him and all of you. We have been anyway, and will continue to. Those Italian nurses are pretty lucky to be able to spend so much time with such a famous little guy! God Bless. Love, Nae and Nona
Wow! He just keeps getting more and more beautiful! I bet those nurses just wanted to see his smileing little face again! I hope his mighty mouse shirt still fits him. If he wares it to surgery those doctors will know they better treat Jerome right. You dont wanna mess with mighty mouse! I will pray a rosary for the little guy. God Bless you all, and give Shelly and that beautiful son of yours a big hug for me. I wont stop the prayers! Love Julia
Your little one is certainly in our prayers- and so are his wonderful parents. You know those nurses couldn't stand another day without him! He's a strong little guy! Miss all three of you & love you tremendously!

Dearest Jon, Duquesa and sweet sweet Jerome-
We will continue to pray for you and for Jerome as he goes into surgery today. Not a day has passed that Joseph does not pray for you and your baby at night prayers. You are all held dearly in our hearts and we miss you.
Jerome is the most beautiful darling boy ever, don't let those Italian nurses keep him there too long :) Wish we could see him too.
With lots of love and prayers,
Andrew, Mara and Joseph
In awe of God mercy, grace, and glory. He is a handsome fellow and I am so glad to see that he is back home. Always in my prayers!

Hello to all y'all!! Now that our computer has finally had enough of it's own doctoring I believe we can begin to communicate! What an amazing little guy you have. Considering the stock he comes from, it is not a surprise. Jon you do a great job documenting every thing. You are a good story teller. Duquessa, you look great! I
am hoping Renee found her way there safe and sound. I am sure the reunion was wonderful. The lion picture is too darn cute. J.T. had one just like that and he loved it much as a baby. We miss all of you (Hi Shelly) and we are praying you have a wonderful Thanksgiving (much to be thankful for)!! Hugs, Meg et all
